In Her Own Words
"I started Health Changers Global because knowledge saved my perspective — and I believe it can save lives."
Growing up in Zimbabwe, I saw how much a person's health could depend on things that had nothing to do with how hard they worked or how much they cared for their family — things like distance to a clinic, the cost of a consultation, or simply never having been taught the warning signs to look for. I carried those images with me long after I left home.
Today I'm a pre-med student pursuing the path to becoming a physician, and every lecture hall, every shadowing shift, and every volunteer hour has only confirmed what I already believed: healthcare knowledge is one of the most powerful, most under-shared resources in the world. Health Changers Global is my way of sharing it now — not waiting for a white coat to start changing lives.

Roots
Growing Up in Zimbabwe
Celeste's earliest understanding of health inequity didn't come from a textbook — it came from watching her own community navigate a healthcare system where good information wasn't always within reach. That early exposure planted the question that would eventually become Health Changers Global: what if everyone, no matter where they lived, had access to the knowledge that keeps people well?
Education
Finding Her Path at Waynesburg University
Continuing her education in the United States at Waynesburg University, Celeste committed to the pre-med track — grounding her passion for healthcare access in the rigor of science, biology, and patient care fundamentals.
Clinical Experience
Behind the Stethoscope
Through shadowing physicians and volunteering in clinical settings, Celeste saw up close how much of good health outcomes comes down to education delivered early, clearly, and without judgment — reinforcing her belief that a future physician's job starts long before the exam room.
Today
Founding Health Changers Global
Rather than wait until after medical school to start making an impact, Celeste founded Health Changers Global to begin the work now — building a youth-driven initiative that brings health education, outreach, and compassion to communities across South Africa, the USA, and Zimbabwe.
Why It Matters
A Future Physician, Building the Movement Today
Celeste doesn't see Health Changers Global as a side project to her medical career — she sees it as the beginning of it. Every workshop taught, every resource written, and every outreach event organized is preparation for a lifetime of patient-centered care, and proof that you don't need a degree to start changing lives.
